Woman Wanted for Deadly Parkway Village Shooting Arrested by U.S. Marshals

A woman wanted for a fatal shooting in Parkway Village earlier this year was arrested on Monday by U.S. Marshals.

Officials said 45-year-old Anntenika Brown was found at her home on McCorkle Road in Whitehaven and taken into custody. She has been charged with first-degree murder.

The case is connected to the death of Jeffrey Washington, who was shot and killed on January 13, 2025, on Cottonwood. The next day, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Brown.

The U.S. Marshals’ Two Rivers Violent Task Force took over the case and tracked Brown to her residence. When officers arrived, she initially gave them false information about her identity, but they were able to confirm who she was.

Brown is currently being held at the Shelby County Detention Center. Police have not yet shared details on what led to the shooting.
