Eloy Accident

A skydiver tragically lost his life earlier this month in Eloy, Arizona. The incident occurred on February 16, around 2 p.m., when the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an injured skydiver.

The 47-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, died from his injuries, according to officials. Investigators have stated that there is no indication of foul play, and while details of the investigation remain limited, witnesses reported that the man was highly experienced in skydiving.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is also looking into the incident.

This tragic event follows another similar skydiving death in the Eloy area earlier this month. A man from Gilbert died in what appeared to be a comparable accident at the same location. Additionally, a woman tragically passed away in January from a parachuting accident near Sky Dive Arizona, which is also close to Eloy Municipal Airport.
