A woman lost her life in an electric scooter accident in Lithgow, about 140km west of Sydney.
Jessica Newsome, who witnessed the crash, said the woman was thrown off her e-scooter after a collision. She rushed to help and performed CPR, but despite her efforts, the woman could not be saved and died at the scene.
NSW Police confirmed that emergency services responded to the accident at the intersection of Great Western Highway and Lee Street in Bowenfels around 5:10 pm.
According to the police, the crash involved a utility vehicle (Ute) and an electric scooter. The rider, a woman believed to be in her 30s, was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene.
