The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 31-year-old Nicholas R. Whitmarsh, who was wanted by the police in Pennsylvania.
Officers went to a location in the Town of Barton after getting an anonymous tip about where Whitmarsh might be.
When they saw him, he ran away on foot. However, the police caught him on Interstate 86 in the Town of Barton.
Whitmarsh was arrested for being a fugitive from justice. He was also charged with resisting arrest and interfering with the police.
He is now in the Tioga County Jail.
