A man from Afton has been arrested and charged after the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office found that he repeatedly tried to contact someone over six months, despite being told to stop.
Authorities say Cody L. Borawa attempted to reach the victim in multiple ways, including emails, fake phone numbers, text messages, phone calls, and even through the victim’s family, friends, and social media.
Despite being warned not to communicate any further, he continued his attempts. As a result, Borawa was taken into custody on February 6th and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree stalking.
